Job DescriptionSalary:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The PTA will operate within Local, State and Federal Regulations as well as adhere to all MECA policies and procedures. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
Providing verbal and written reports of observations and client capacity with technical accuracy
Adhering to plans, objectives and procedures for treatment
Selecting appropriate stimulus materials and treatment modalities for age and ability of the child/family
Giving clear concise instructions in presenting materials and/or techniques in therapy
Recording and tracking daily progress accurately
Utilizing time in session efficiently to meet objectives
Providing accurate and immediate feedback to the person(s) served and/or family
Participating in the planning for discharge of the child/family- Attending Transdisciplinary Team Approach (TTA) meetings, IFSPs, Periodic Reviews, Annual Reviews and Transition meetings as required
CASELOAD ASSIGNMENTS
The PTA will be assigned a weekly caseload from the respective program directors for each program they serve by:
Carrying a caseload of 27 therapy hours per week equating to 1296 direct therapy hours per year or part time equivalent
Proving services according to childs IFSP
PRODUCTIVITY
The PTA will achieve the expected productivity set by MECA Management.
Achieving 90% performance goal
DOCUMENTATION
The PTA will accurately collect data on children/families and will ensure that the information is accurate and submitted in a timely manner by adhering to the following:
- Documenting therapy sessions and progress at the time of visit and is to be submitted no later than 8:00 a.m. on Monday and on the in accordance to submission schedule
- Completing progress notes with team at 6-month review
- Documenting TTA meetings
