Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and appropriate school-based certification to serve K-12 students in a rural New Mexico school district. This contract position spans the entire school year and is based onsite, providing direct interaction with students and school staff.
Location:
- Ranchos De Taos, NM, an area known for its scenic beauty and peaceful rural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy plans for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in school meetings and comply with state and federal regulations pertaining to special education services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Licensure or certification qualifying practice as a School-Based SLP.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to onsite service delivery; virtual services are being phased out for this district.
