A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and appropriate school licensure to support K-12 students in a rural, picturesque district in Taos, NM. This contract position spans the full school year (NSY) and involves onsite work to engage directly with students and staff in an enriching educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student educational planning
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP CCC credential and current school licensure
- Experience working with diverse pediatric populations across the K-12 spectrum
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to onsite service delivery; virtual work is not supported
