Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (MS/Tele)

Location: 1399 Weimer Rd, Taos, NM 87571
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
Unit: Med Surg
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join their night shift team. This is a 13-week travel assignment in a critical access facility with 18 beds, located in Taos, New Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to med/surg and telemetry patients
- Maintain a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in on-call rotations as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent MS/Tele RN experience
- Active NM or Compact RN License (Pending licenses not accepted)
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) (can be obtained on-site during the first week)
- Willingness to work on-call
- First-time travelers welcome
- Must reside 75 miles from the facility
