WE ARE HIRING -&nbsp; Copy editor
Key Responsibilities:&nbsp; • Edit, proofread, and fact-check copy for the weekly newspaper and website, including the Tempo arts section and special sections, with extreme proficiency, accuracy, and consistency.&nbsp; • Enter data into the weekly calendar and compile community announcements for both print and web.&nbsp; • Be a team player with a willingness to assist with any project.
Qualifications and Skills:&nbsp; • Minimum of 3 years of experience in copy editing newspapers or magazines.&nbsp; • Strong understanding of prepress workflow management.&nbsp; • Experience with Newsroom Q, Blox, and Adobe Suite is a plus.&nbsp; • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, multi-deadline environment.&nbsp; • Willing to work night and weekend shifts as needed.
