Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Endorsement in Math and ELA preferred
- Experience working with elementary and secondary students with special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
- Taos, New Mexico
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students progress, adapting instructional methods to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
- Create and maintain organized documentation of student progress and IEP goals
- Develop tailored lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Provide support in adaptive living skills as needed
