Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a structured educational setting for the full spring semester. This full-time position requires 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Ranchos De Taos, NMDuration: Full semester contract (2nd semester)Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Valid PreK Special Education License
- Completion of HB 128 Forms
- Experience working with students needing special education support
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and needs
- Deliver specialized instruction and modify curriculum materials to enhance learning opportunities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth and success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and school administrators
- Work onsite to provide direct instructional support and intervention as needed, ensuring compliance with district policies and state regulations
