Job Announcement: Program Manager- CPSW
Position Summary:
The Program Manager is a dynamic and vital leadership role responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of Rio Grande ATPs peer support program, Recovery-Friendly Taos. This position involves the recruitment, training, supervision, and empowerment of peer support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, effective, and recovery-focused support to individuals we serve. The Program Manager will champion the peer support model within the organization and the wider community, fostering a culture of hope, empowerment, and lived experience expertise.

Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Self-identify as a current or former consumer of mental health and/or substance use disorders treatment services
Possess or obtain a New Mexico Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW).
A minimum of three years of stable recovery (clean and sober)
Provide three (3) Character References to include endorsement of the number of year clean & sober.
- Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges and a strong commitment to the principles of recovery and peer support.
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within a peer support program.
- Strong understanding of the principles and practices of peer support, recovery-oriented care, and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, empower, and support others.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, email, and data entry.
