Full-time Hourly Position starting at $16.00-$18.00 DOE plus benefits.Located in Taos, NM. Working out of our El Monte Sagrado Resort &amp; Spa.
 
Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
<ul>
<li>Work under direction of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of positivity and professionalism with guests, team members, and external partners.</li>
<li>Respond to work orders and perform routine facilities maintenance.</li>
<li>Maintain facility equipment as indicated by the preventative maintenance plan.</li>
<li>Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.</li>
<li>As directed, conduct regular building and facilities general maintenance including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, tile, and landscaping.</li>
<li>Repairing and treating structures such as floors, sinks, showers, walls, windows, carpets, roofs, locks, and drains.</li>
<li>Ensure that all work activities conform to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations and policies.</li>
<li>May include maintenance of pools, spas, and hot tubs.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>1 years of facilities maintenance or construction experience preferred.</li>
<li>Hospitality experience preferred.</li>
<li>Frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting, stooping, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required; conditions could include outdoors, indoors, and confined spaces.</li>
<li>Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds.</li>
<li>May be exposed to extreme or variant temperatures, high and precarious locations, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.</li>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>
<li>Must have current, unrestricted driver's license and be able to maintain company group insurance. </li>

Job Title: Janitor Location: Taos, NM 87571 Duration: 1+year (options for 26 weeks or long term) Start Date: May 2025 Shift Schedule: 6:30 am-3:30 pm and 8:30 am-5:30 pm. 40 hr. a week. Qualification Education: High School Experience: 2 years of past experience working in a corporate or healthcare setting Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in all high-touch areas.</li>
<li>Refill restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer dispensers.</li>
<li>Collect and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste, ensuring proper handling and disposal procedures.</li>
<li>Operate floor maintenance equipment to buff, strip, and wax floors, as well as shampoo and vacuum carpets.</li>
<li>Follow infection control protocols and use appropriate PPE as required by safety policies.</li>
<li>Handle emergency cleaning tasks such as spills, biohazardous waste removal, and deep cleaning requests.</li>
<li>Maintain and secure cleaning equipment, report needed repairs, and track supply inventory.</li>
